Here is just a sample list of

Workman International Marine School.
Its not a surprise that we're as happy as our clients...
But we have had so many letters like this that we are unable
to put them all on this web pages if you would like to come
to our offices and inspect the rest of these lovely letters
please feel free to do so. We must apologise to those
clients whose letters we have not been able to fit on these
pages.

On behalf of Gordon and myself may I thank you for an
awesome two days of training and the beautiful certificate
at the end of the course. The application forms are all
ready in the post.
I am sure that the two remaining members of our boat
consortium will relish the easy to understand mechanics of
the course, together with user friendly style of the
excellent tuition, once again many thanks Gary I am sure it
wont be long before we pop over to see you.

I would like to thank you once again for making my level 2
training course most enjoyable.
I found I found it to be a real eye opener with regard to
the amount of things I didnt know.
The course was run-in a really fun and friendly way which
despite my nervousness boosted my confidence.
My partner will without doubt be doing the same course in
the near future and I should here of anyone looking for not
only training but just good sound advice workman

Were back home in Aberdeen now and we could certainly do
with a boat here rain and more rain!
Just to say that after being persuades to do the boat course
and dreading it!! I am so happy to be able to say that I
thourghly enjoyed those two days with you. Y you made them
fun and explained things so accurately that I actually found
that I enjoyed the boat driving. |It was all a pleasure not
a chore (as I feared) ,and great fun thanks to you.
Hope to catch you blasting around the mar menor sometime and
if you have any nervous female students you can point out
this one in growing confidence female to them!

The word panic has been removed from my vocal bury and been
replaced with neutral! Chart datum will also never be
forgotten and I am looking forward to studying the charts.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course and I was amazed how much I
learned and retained in such a quick time. I was impressed
with the method of teaching although it was done in a
friendly and relaxing manner it was thoroughly professional
for both theory and practical aspects of the course. This
will definitely aid my confidence in the future.
The course was defiantly money well spent and I am more than
100% satisfied with the content and outcome and now
confident that I will be much safer and confident on the
water which is good news for my passengers and other
sailors.
I would not hesitate to recommend this course to others
especially my immediate family.

Thanks for the Instruction on the course these past two
days. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have to say that even
though I have had a good few years experience under my belt.
I have learned some very valuable lessons especially when it
comes to handling a boat in a confined area and reversing it
into a berth. I was also very impressed by the way you made
the buoy system very easy to learn.

Gary was superb in his teaching methods with me as an
individual, clear, precise, and full of humour.

I have just returned from taking my powerboat level 2 with
Gary Workman
I have been driving a boat for about 15 years but Gary
taught me a lot more than I thought he would be able to. I
want to say I am glad I phoned Gary he was very clear in the
classroom going over what I didnt understand and he was
just as good on the water.

Just thought I would drop you a line to say thank you for
getting me and Shaun through are course.
I really enjoyed the course and learned so much As you know
I was quite wary as I had never driven a boat before and
wasnt particularly confident But now happy to be in the
driving seat.
I have also seen Shaun change his style when returning to
the marina. He does now go into neutral!!! Pretty good for a
speedboat merchant.

communication skills excellent both in the classroom and on

My wife and I have just taken the RYA powerboat course run
by Gary workman at the marine school.
The practical and theoretical sections of the of the course
were set out in a friendly and simple way that at no time
out you under any stress and therefore made it lots of fun.
For this reason all the information and instruction given
went into your head and stayed.
We both now feel more confident to take our boat into the
Mediterranean and navigate safely.

Just writing to say once again thanks for taking us through
the 2 day powerboat course in lovely la-manga.
We both found your training methods refreshing and
informative, making what seemed complicated easily
understood and more importantly retained. It made what is
essentially a serious course enjoyable and the location

I recently took my level 2 ICC course with my cousin when I
was on holiday in Spain. It was a 2 day course and we had
lots of fun We went in on the first day knowing nothing at
all and came out at the end full of knowledge.
Gary and Adam were good teachers keeping it as fun as
possible but serious at the same time. It was good fun and I
defiantly recommend it.

Hi there- just writing to say many thanks for all your
tuition over the last few days.
It has been many years since I entered into any formal
tuition and perhaps felt a degree of nervousness in the run
up to the course however it became apparent very quickly,
that you are most skilled at settling any nerves that one
might have.
Your method of teaching is one that allowed me to take in as
subsequently retained.
If there were any areas that I was not 100% clear on you
very quickly identified that and too time to go back over
the information and ensure that with additional explanation,
I was completely happy with my understanding
From a practical perspective, your experience and knowledge
are second to none and again, this eased my way into feeling
secure whilst handling the rib your patience and skill at
explaining and demonstrating, only made the task at hand
easier for me.
I would have no hesitation in recommending to you anyone who
is considering any form of RYA certification as I know that
they will all be given the time, consideration and benefit
of knowledge and experience that I myself have benefited,
and much appreciate.
